As we approach the first anniversary of the opening of our Business Account Management (BAM) hub in Cambridge, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the last 12 months and the changes which have been made within our Business Development function.
Moving on from the traditional BDM out on the road, each member of the BAM team is based in our Cambridge hub full time and have been allocated specific broker accounts for which they are personally responsible. Through this method we have been able to engage with larger number of brokers, regardless of account size, on a much more consistent basis.
The opening of our Cambridge office has given our brokers a personalised service and has shown a renewed commitment in the development of our broker community.
This new way of working has had a remarkable impact on our business and has resulted in 4 new members joining the BAM team in just 12 months. Our BAM service reinforces Folgate’s commitment to ‘Making Life Easy for Brokers’ and allows for a more connected and collaborative business development environment.
