My day to day role consist of Underwriting New and Renewal business through a panel of Brokers, whether that be by phone, email or face to face.

I enjoy trading day to day with brokers to get a deal done, and we have many very supportive brokers, who make this easy to do.

Where were you employed previously to Folgate?

I joined Folgate Insurance on 1st Feb 2010, prior to that I worked for NIG in Fenchurch Street, and RSA in Hertford.

How did you get into the industry?

I started in the industry, following doing 6 months travelling around Europe. I did a stint of bar work when I got back, and then saw an advert in the local paper that they were looking for people at Royal Insurance.

Starting in the Household department, then 4 years later started on Commercial, and have been there ever since.
